A fast-moving storm is expected to bring light snow to the area Sunday.
Periods of snow and rain are expected in the afternoon and evening with an inch or less of accumulation expected.
The chance for snow starts shortly after midnight Sunday and continues through around noontime, followed by rain as the temperature climbs during the day, reaching a high around 40.
Rain is expected to continue overnight into Monday morning.
Skies will gradually clear Monday on a brisk day with a high struggling to reach the freezing mark.
